There are several regulation changes in the Jackson Hole Area (Area 1) for 2006 - 2007. Most of these changes are minor. One that will effect winter fishing is; as WG&FD states All Cutthroat Trout shall be released to the water immediately from November 1 through March 31. For other specific changes refer to the Wyoming Game & Fish Department website or to their regulation booklet.
Yellowstone
National Park Fishing Links & Regulations
Yellowstone requires its own fishing permit. State fishing licenses from WY, ID, or MT are not required. Be sure to check the most recent regulations when you purchase your Yellowstone Fishing Permit. NOTE: Yellowstone can be slow to update their web pages...be sure that you are looking at regulations for the current year. If in doubt, check when you buy your Yellowstone Fishing Permit.
